Nicosia is the only capital in Europe still divided, and it is the only major Cypriot city with no coastline. Both facts change how a removal works here. Everything arrives by road, and the old city inside the Venetian walls is the hardest delivery address on the island.

Nicosia sits about 85 kilometres inland from Limassol, so the road leg is longer than for any coastal town. Goods clear at the port and come up the A1. In practice that adds a day rather than a week, but it belongs in the quote and it is worth checking it is there.
The suburbs are where most people actually end up. Strovolos, Latsia, Engomi, Aglantzia and Lakatamia are large districts in their own right, and access in them is mostly good. It is the historic centre, not the outskirts, that causes problems.
