Almost every removals page treats Cyprus as one destination. It is not. A move to Kyrenia, Famagusta city or Iskele goes by a different route, under a different customs regime, and a quote built for Limassol is the wrong quote.
The north operates its own customs rules, separate from both the Republic of Cyprus and Turkey. It sits outside the EU system, so the transfer of residence relief and form Aπ. 2 that apply in the south do not apply here.
Household goods mostly do not arrive at Limassol. Operators on this journey run ro-ro and container services from Mersin in Turkey into Famagusta, and the goods travel on by road from there. Kyrenia is about 70 kilometres west of Famagusta, a little over an hour.

On the east coast, Iskele and the Long Beach area have grown quickly, with Bogaz and Bafra beyond. Guzelyurt sits west, and North Nicosia and Famagusta city are covered on the same route.
The Besparmak mountains sit directly behind the Kyrenia coast, so hillside villas above Bellapais, Ozankoy and Catalkoy are often reached by steep, sometimes unmade access roads. A loaded lorry does not go up those, and deliveries are shuttled with a smaller vehicle.
Confirm the mover has run the service before rather than assuming the island is one destination. Ask which port the goods arrive at, who attends customs in Lefkosa, what the clearance window is, and what happens if it overruns.
Ask whether a shuttle is included if your property is up a hillside track, and how many runs are allowed for. On a full house move that can be several.
And ask for the timeline door to door, not port to port. On this service the difference is larger than on most.
