Koh Lanta is a quiet Andaman island in Krabi province with a settled community of remote workers and long stay residents. Getting goods there means a road leg, a car ferry and a bridge.
Shipments land at Laem Chabang and clear Thai customs there. The road leg is roughly 1000 kilometres, about fourteen hours plus a ferry. The ferry timetable, not the road distance, is what sets the delivery day here. Movers book the crossing before they confirm a date.
