Phuket is the largest island and the busiest western destination in the south. It is joined to the mainland by the Sarasin bridge, so goods arrive by road rather than by ferry.
Shipments land at Laem Chabang and clear Thai customs there. The road leg is roughly 1050 kilometres, about fourteen hours. The Sarasin bridge is the only road on and off the island, and it does close in severe weather, which is worth knowing if your delivery date is tight.

Marine insurance is worth more attention here than anywhere else because of the value being shipped.
High season runs November to April and the island roads are congested throughout it. Low season brings heavy Andaman rain from May to October, which makes hillside approaches slippery for a loaded lorry. Late October and early November is the practical window.
Coastal condominiums at Patong, Kamala and Bang Tao take a normal delivery with a booked lift. Hillside villas above Kata, Karon and Layan sit on steep narrow approaches where a full lorry cannot turn, so a smaller vehicle does the last leg. Send photos of the approach if you are on a hill.
