Hat Yai is the commercial centre of the deep south and the largest city below Surat Thani. It is a trade and shopping city with strong Malaysian links, and it sits at the end of the longest road leg in the country.
Shipments land at Laem Chabang and clear Thai customs there. The road leg is roughly 1150 kilometres, about fifteen hours. Because the road leg is the longest in the country, Hat Yai goods are normally consolidated with other southern deliveries rather than sent alone.

Hat Yai is a commercial city and its foreign residents reflect that: business owners, traders with Malaysian links, teachers, and medical staff. Very few retirees choose it. Shipments are usually practical part loads rather than the full households seen in the resort towns.
Rain peaks between November and January and Hat Yai has flooded seriously in the past, so ground floor storage is worth avoiding in those months. The city is busiest at weekends with cross border visitors from Malaysia, which makes weekday deliveries much easier.
Central Hat Yai is dense with shophouses and one way streets, so deliveries are usually scheduled outside business hours. Suburban estate housing has proper access. There is little condominium stock here, unlike the coastal cities.
Areas the movers cover here: Hat Yai central, Khlong Hae, Ban Phru and Kho Hong. Packing, part packing and storage at either end are quoted as extras rather than bundled in, so ask for them separately if you want them.
Your destination is หาดใหญ่, romanised as Hat Yai. Two words in Thai. Our page uses the one-word slug because that is what people type.
Hat Yai central, Khlong Hae, Ban Phru and Kho Hong. Addresses outside those are still collected: the firm delivers across the province and smaller places are served off the nearest run.
Songkhla, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phuket, Krabi. Still choosing between two of these? Say so and ask for the difference in the quote.
Goods arrive at Laem Chabang and travel on by road, roughly 1150 kilometres, about fifteen hours. Sea transit runs about six to twelve weeks door to door before that road leg starts.

We are not a removal company. Tell us what you are sending and where it is going, and one vetted moving company from the AGM Group network, agm.group, takes it from there. Their movers and packers survey the house, wrap the goods and load the container, and the same firm handles the relocation paperwork and the clearance in Thailand. That company holds FIDI FAIM certification. One firm, one quote, one point of contact, from the UK collection through to the shipping and the delivery.
