There are two ways across, and they suit different destinations.
The Oresund bridge, Malmo to Copenhagen. A fixed road and rail link, open in all weathers, tolled. It lands you on Amager and then directly into the capital. For Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, Tarnby, Gentofte or anywhere on Zealand, this is the route.
The Helsingborg to Helsingor ferry. A short crossing at the narrowest point of the Oresund, running frequently through the day. It lands in north Zealand rather than at the capital, which suits Helsingor, Hillerod and Horsholm, and it avoids the bridge toll.
For a Jutland destination, neither is ideal. A move from Sweden to Aarhus or Aalborg crosses into Zealand and then has to cross the Great Belt and the Little Belt to get out again. Depending on where in Sweden you start, going round through Germany can occasionally be more sensible, and a mover who knows the route will tell you.

Access is harder in Denmark, particularly in Copenhagen. Swedish apartment buildings, especially those built through the post-war decades, generally have lifts sized for normal use. Older Copenhagen and Frederiksberg blocks frequently have none, or a small original cage lift that will not take a sofa. An external hoist through a window is standard practice in Copenhagen and unusual in Malmo.
Room dimensions. Swedish flats at a comparable price are often more generous. Measure before assuming a piece will fit, particularly wardrobes and sofas.
Electrical. Both run 230V with compatible plugs. No adaptation needed.
Kitchens. Swedish rental practice varies, but if you are taking appliances, check the Danish property's fittings and dimensions before shipping anything built in.
Vehicles. Household goods move freely, but a car is a separate matter and Danish registration tax is normally payable in full on an imported vehicle whether it comes from an EU country or not. See moving a car.
A few practical points specific to the Oresund.
The bridge is tolled and the rate depends on vehicle size. A removal lorry pays considerably more than a car. That is a real line in the quote and worth understanding rather than assuming it is padding.
Commuter traffic is heavy at predictable times. The Oresund carries a substantial daily flow in both directions. A delivery scheduled outside the peaks is faster and cheaper in crew hours.
The ferry avoids the toll but adds a wait. Helsingborg to Helsingor is frequent, but a lorry may not get the next sailing, and in winter weather can disrupt it.
Danish permits are municipal. Whichever crossing you use, holding road space at the Danish end is decided by the individual council, and Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, Tarnby and the rest each set their own rules.
