Two customs processes, not none.
Leaving Denmark. Goods departing the EU customs territory need an export declaration. Your carrier or shipping agent handles this, but it is a step that simply does not exist on a move to Sweden or Germany, and it needs building into the schedule.
Entering Norway. Norwegian customs operate their own relief for household goods being brought in as part of a genuine relocation, with conditions of their own about length of prior residence abroad, ownership period and what qualifies. Those are Norwegian rules administered by Norwegian authorities and they are not the same as the Danish ones, so do not assume the conditions carry across.
Norway takes this seriously. Restrictions on alcohol, tobacco, food and certain goods are tighter than most people expect, and enforcement is real rather than nominal. A full and honest inventory matters more here than on an intra-EU route, and guessing at values is a bad idea.
Get the Norwegian requirements confirmed by your mover in writing before the collection date, and make sure whoever is filing knows they are handling an export rather than a domestic EU movement.
Norwegian registration works to its own timetable. Arriving to live, you report to the population register and are assigned a national identity number, which is the document everything else depends on. Bank accounts, digital identification, healthcare access and most tenancy agreements assume you have one. Processing takes time and there is limited provision for people who do not yet have one.
That has a direct consequence for the removal. If your permanent housing depends on paperwork that has not arrived, your furniture may need somewhere to wait. Decide that in advance rather than in a hurry.
No land border, so every route is a sea crossing or a long drive through Sweden.
By ferry from north Jutland. Crossings run from Hirtshals and Frederikshavn to southern Norway. From Jutland this is the direct option, with the E45 running north from wherever you start with no bridge or toll.
By road through Sweden. Over the Oresund from Copenhagen or by the Helsingor ferry, then north through Sweden and across the Norwegian border by road. Longer, but for a Copenhagen departure it avoids crossing the whole of Denmark first.
Where you start decides it. From Aalborg or Aarhus, the ferry. From Copenhagen, usually Sweden.
Ferry sailings are weather-dependent in winter, and Norwegian roads north of the border can be seriously affected by snow. If you are moving between November and March, build genuine slack into the date rather than treating it as a contingency.

The cost of living in Norway is well known, and it changes the arithmetic on what to ship.
Ship more than you would elsewhere. Replacing furniture and household goods in Norway is expensive, which shifts the balance towards taking things you might otherwise sell. That is the opposite of the advice for a move to Spain.
Alcohol is the obvious exception. Norwegian rules on importing alcohol are strict and the allowances are small. This is not an area to be creative in.
Winter equipment is worth having. If you accumulated any in Denmark it will get far more use in Norway.
Your car needs thought. Norwegian vehicle import rules and taxes are their own subject. Separately, if the car was registered in Denmark, deregistering it from the Register of Motor Vehicles may allow you to reclaim part of the Danish registration tax, though not more than was paid. Housing. Norwegian homes outside the cities tend to be larger than Danish equivalents, so furniture that was tight in a Copenhagen flat will usually be fine.
Terrain changes the delivery. Norway is mountainous in a way Denmark simply is not. Properties on steep approaches, on unsurfaced tracks, or up single-lane roads with passing places rather than turning space are common outside the cities, and a fully loaded lorry handles none of that well. In winter, roads that are passable in July may not be passable at all.
Describe the approach rather than the address, and if you are moving between November and March, ask what the mover's contingency is rather than assuming there is one.
The departure end has its own sequence, and it is worth doing in order.
Deregister from the CPR system with your municipality, understanding that it affects bank access, MitID and health cover. Several of those you may still need while the move is happening.
Close utilities and the tenancy properly. Danish rental handovers involve an inspection and disputes are far easier resolved while you are still in the country.
Tax. Leaving mid-year has consequences with SKAT, and cross-border tax between Denmark and Norway is a specialist matter. Start early.
Get the furniture out. If it came into a Copenhagen or Frederiksberg flat on an external hoist because there is no lift, it leaves the same way, and the hoist needs booking rather than assuming.

One point on routing that affects the cost of leaving. From Jutland the E45 runs north to the ferry ports with no crossing charge at all. From Copenhagen and Zealand you cross the Great Belt and the Little Belt just to reach the mainland, or go east over the Oresund into Sweden instead. Those are real tolls on the Danish side before the international leg even begins, and a mover routing the job properly will tell you which works out cheaper from your address.
Sea freight through a Danish port is an alternative for larger volumes. Aarhus handles most Danish container traffic, Copenhagen Malmo Port serves Zealand and Fredericia has the deepwater berths. The DFDS Immingham service is a UK route and does not help here.
