Hua Hin is a long established seaside town three hours south of the capital, and the most popular retirement destination in Thailand for British arrivals after Chiang Mai.
Shipments land at Laem Chabang and clear Thai customs there. The road leg is roughly 300 kilometres, about four and a half hours. The town fills at weekends year round with traffic from Bangkok, so weekday deliveries are considerably easier. The rainy season here runs later than the west coast, into October and November, and the coastal roads flood in places during it.
