Four villages grown together, and no obvious centre to aim for.
Wetzikon is one of the larger towns of the Zurich Oberland and it does not have a centre in the way most towns do. It formed from several villages that expanded until they met, and the result is a town with a number of centres and no single one.
Most towns give a driver something to head for. Wetzikon gives four somethings. The old village cores grew outward over the last century and a half until they ran together, and the built up area now covers them all without ever producing a dominant centre.
For a delivery that means the district name is worth more than the town name. An address given as Wetzikon alone leaves a driver deciding which part of a spread out town to aim at, which is a few minutes wasted at best.
The individual parts are ordinary to deliver into: level or gently sloping ground, a mix of village stock and later housing, and streets that take a vehicle.
Wetzikon also appears as Zurich Oberland and Robenhausen. Whichever version you searched for, this is the same city and the same page. Give the mover the address exactly as it appears on your Swiss lease.
The older village buildings are what you would expect: lower, narrower stairwells, sometimes no lift, and lanes that were not laid out for vehicles. They are a small share of the housing but they are where the difficulty is.
The later development around them is ordinary Swiss suburban stock with lifts that will generally take a wardrobe and streets a lorry can work in.
Say which you are moving into. In an older village property the stair is the question and it does not show in the address.
The village cores each kept their own name in local use, and people say which part of Wetzikon they live in as a matter of course. Adopt the same habit when you brief a mover.
Within each core the streets are older and narrower, with the usual arrangement of a standing point rather than a spot at the door. Between and around them the housing is later and access is unremarkable.
Send the district, the street and the postcode. It is the difference between a driver arriving and a driver arriving at the right end of a spread out town.
