This is the single most useful thing to know before you decide what to move.
German rental flats frequently come without a kitchen. Not without appliances. Without the kitchen. No units, no worktop, sometimes bare connections on a wall. Outgoing tenants take theirs with them and incoming tenants install their own or buy the existing one from the previous occupant.
Danish rental practice is generally the opposite, with a fitted kitchen supplied as part of the property. So a household moving from Denmark to Germany can arrive at an empty room where the kitchen should be, having left a perfectly good kitchen behind because it belonged to the landlord.
Establish this before you sign anything. Ask specifically whether the flat has an Einbauküche, whether it is included, and whether the previous tenant expects to sell theirs. The answer changes both your budget and what makes sense to ship.
If you are buying a kitchen from an outgoing tenant, that is a private transaction with no warranty attached, so see it first.
Germany operates a registration requirement with a legal deadline, which Denmark does not in the same form.
After moving into a German address you must register with the local authority within a short window, typically a matter of days rather than months. That registration is the gateway document: without it you cannot readily open a bank account, get a tax identification number, or arrange most utilities.
Two practical consequences for the move itself.
You need the address before you need the furniture. Registration requires a landlord confirmation, so the tenancy has to be real and signed before the clock starts usefully.
Appointment availability varies enormously by city. In the larger cities, slots can be weeks out. If registration is on a deadline and appointments are not available, that is a known problem with known workarounds, but it needs handling early rather than discovered on arrival.

Short, and it depends where you are starting.
From south Jutland. Sonderborg, Haderslev, Kolding and Esbjerg are all close to the border. A move to Hamburg or Schleswig-Holstein from there is closer to a domestic job than an international one, and should be priced that way.
From the rest of Jutland. Straight down the E45, no crossings.
From Funen. The Little Belt bridge, then the E45.
From Copenhagen and Zealand. The Great Belt bridge, then the Little Belt, then the E45. Two toll crossings before you leave the country, which is a real cost on an otherwise short move.
Because the corridor is busy in both directions, shared loads are readily available and windows are shorter than on thinner routes. Worth asking whether the mover has other work going south in your window.
Kitchens. Covered above, and the big one. If you are somehow taking a kitchen, measure the German room first, because German kitchen dimensions follow their own standard.
Appliances. Both countries run 230V with compatible plugs, so electricals transfer without adaptation. Built-in appliances are a different matter, since they need to fit whatever kitchen exists or is going in.
Lighting. German flats frequently come without light fittings, only bare ceiling connections, in the same spirit as the kitchens. Danish ones usually have them. Worth taking yours if the landlord permits it.
Curtain rails and blinds. Window sizes differ enough that made-to-measure rarely transfers.
Furniture. Broadly comparable proportions, so most pieces will work. Measure the route in rather than the room, particularly in older German buildings which have the same narrow stairwell problem as Danish ones.
Your car. If it was registered in Denmark, deregistering it may allow you to reclaim part of the Danish registration tax, though not more than was paid. That is a Motorstyrelsen application and worth doing.
