Varberg has a ferry across the Kattegat to Denmark, which makes it one of the few Swedish west coast towns with its own direct international link rather than relying on the Öresund crossings further south. For a move originating in Denmark or northern Germany that can shorten the chain noticeably.
For a UK move it is less directly relevant, since goods arrive either through Gothenburg on the freight crossing or overland from the south, both of which put Varberg on the E6 with an easy final approach. But if your relocation involves Denmark at either end, mention it.
