Trelleborg is the southernmost town in Sweden and its principal roll on roll off freight port. Ferries run from here to Germany and to Poland, and a very large share of the goods that arrive in Sweden by road come ashore at this quay. If you are moving a vehicle or a household into the country from continental Europe, there is a reasonable chance it passes through Trelleborg whether you are moving here or not.
That gives the town an odd double character. It is a working port with a genuine industrial economy, and it is also a small Skåne town where people live ordinary lives a few streets back from the terminal. Deliveries reflect that. The residential areas are unremarkable and easy. The area around the port is a different environment with its own access rules.
Two European routes begin here. The E6 runs north from Trelleborg through Malmö and up the west coast to Gothenburg and on into Norway. The E22 heads east along the south coast towards Kristianstad and Kalmar. For a town of this size the road connections are unusually good, and the final approach to a delivery is rarely the difficult part.
