Brussels runs on fixed term contracts. A large share of moves on this journey are people arriving for a defined period or leaving at the end of one, which changes the right answer from "ship everything" to "ship what you need for the length of the posting".
That is a different question from the one most removals advice answers. It is not how do I move my household. It is how much of my household should be in the country at all, and where does the rest live meanwhile.
The journey itself is easy: around 900 kilometres of motorway through Germany, no mountains, no ferry and no customs entry on your belongings.

If your posting has an end date, shipping an entire household out and then back again is an expensive way to store furniture. Two long journeys cost more than one journey plus a warehouse.
So the sum worth doing is: what do I actually need in the Czech Republic for the length of this contract, and what would cost less to leave behind? Furnished lets are common in Prague and Brno, which shifts the answer further towards a smaller load than people expect.
Price a full household and a part shipment side by side, then put the difference against the storage cost. Removal companies handling institutional work are used to this request.

Belgium has Dutch speaking, French speaking and German speaking areas, and local administration follows the region rather than the country. That matters for deregistering with your commune, for utilities and for anything official you need to close down before you leave.
It does not affect the international moving job. The crew works in whichever language it speaks, the inventory is written once, and no Belgian language question reaches the Czech side at all.
Worth knowing only so you allow time for the local admin, which people routinely leave until the week of the move and then find is the slowest part.
Townhouses in Brussels, Ghent and Antwerp share a problem with Prague: narrow, steep staircases with turns furniture will not make, in buildings that predate lifts. Where nothing fits, hoisting through a window is the normal solution at both ends, exactly as it is on the Dutch journey.
Measure the narrowest turn, the lift car if there is one, and your largest item in three dimensions, at both ends. Then ask what a hoist or a shuttle vehicle costs.
Both countries are EU member states, so personal belongings move without any customs entry. No import declaration, no duty relief claim, no EORI number. Council Regulation (EC) No 1186/2009 covers goods entering the EU from outside it and neither end of this journey is outside it.
A vehicle still needs registering at the destination, with the Czech electronic motorway vignette applying from the first journey: see car transport. Pets need documents and vaccination records.
Residence follows your nationality rather than your last address. Given how international the Brussels workforce is, that is worth stating plainly: a non-EU passport holder living in Belgium is a third country national for Czech residence purposes and needs the non-EU permit route.
