Every British load bound for the Czech Republic crosses France or Belgium and then Germany. That means a French collection is often not a new journey at all, but a stop on one already running, and that is usually cheaper and quicker than commissioning a vehicle from scratch.
It is the kind of thing removal companies know and customers do not, because nobody volunteers it. So ask directly: do you already run this way, and can my collection join a vehicle that is going anyway?
Sometimes the answer is no, because the dates do not line up or the vehicle is full. When it is yes, the saving is real and the wait for shared space is shorter than it would be on a pair with no through traffic.
The rest of the journey is the easiest of the long hauls. No Alps, no ferry, no customs entry, and motorway most of the way.
A mover running UK to Czech Republic removals loads in Britain, crosses the Channel, and drives east. If there is space and the timing works, a French collection can be added on the way through.
You are then effectively on a part load that was already leaving, rather than waiting for a Spain or Portugal style vehicle to fill from nothing.
The catch is that you fit their schedule rather than the other way round. If your dates are immovable, say so early, because this arrangement trades flexibility for price.

Lille, Strasbourg, Alsace and the north east sit closest to the German border and are the shortest jobs on this pair. From Strasbourg the Czech border is a comfortable day.

Brittany, Normandy, the south west and the Riviera all add several hundred kilometres westward or southward before anything heads towards Germany. From Nice or Bordeaux this stops being a short job and starts behaving like the Spanish journey, with driver hours rules shaping the timetable.
Give the collection town rather than the country. A quote against "France" is a quote against nothing in particular.
Both countries are in the EU, so belongings move in free circulation with no declaration, no claim under Council Regulation (EC) No 1186/2009 and no EORI number. Parisian apartment buildings and Prague ones have more in common than either has with a modern estate: tight stairwells, lifts added long after the building went up, courtyards a lorry cannot enter, and no loading bay anywhere.
Measure the narrowest turn in the stairwell rather than the width of the stairs, measure the lift car internally, and measure your largest item in three dimensions. Do it at both ends. Then ask the removal service what happens if something does not fit, before it is standing on the landing.
